Yesterday in the fan group (can be found here) Rage announced the plan for a special E.P. to commemorate 5 years of The Waystone. The Waystone was the second album from Kaine and was a very popular release that still sells to this today.
For the five-year celebration of the album the current line-up will record a limited edition EP with 4 songs from the album plus one previously unreleased song from that era of the band. The CD will come bundled with a brand-new t-shirt and will be recorded later this year.
Rage said: “To commemorate the 5th anniversary of The Waystone we’ll be re-recording 4 of the tracks from the album along with a previously unreleased track sometime later this year. In order to be able to afford the recording of this E.P. and printing of the new shirt, we have put up a pre-order link to enable you to support the release before we start to record it. It’s just £10 for both the CD and the shirt with 10% off for all our members.
As you will be aware, we’re nearly finished with the new Kaine album, the new Kaine live album recorded back in April and have yet another live album planned to be recorded in November (tickets available from Bandcamp for just £3.) so we’re incredibly busy, we’ve even began writing new material for a follow up album to Reforge The Steel… so please bear with us while we put together all this material for you! It will be with you sooner than you may think…”
